Oman (Arabic: عُمان), officially the Sultanate of Oman (Arabic: سلطنة عُمان), is a stunning country located on the southeastern coast of the Arabian Peninsula. With a strategic position at the mouth of the Persian Gulf, Oman shares borders with the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to the northwest, Saudi Arabia to the west, and Yemen to the southwest. The country also has marine borders with Iran and Pakistan. The coastline is formed by the Arabian Sea to the southeast and the Gulf of Oman to the northeast.
